Do I Have To Pay To Become A Citizen?

Post by Admin on Wed 8 Oct 2014 - 0:51

The answer is No! not a present. However all citizens are now required by law to give at least 25 hours voluntary service to Scotia each year, to help support the development, growth and enhancement of the country. Once we are ready to issue National Cards, Passports etc, we would require a small amount for admin fees only.

Tax

Post by Kerry-Ann Taylor on Sat 26 Sep 2015 - 22:40

Hiya, I think as citizens we should pay some sort of citizen tax so we can start funding the principality and its work to become a recognised nation within the UN and the nations around the globe.

What do others think?

Hi Kerry-Ann,

We will be looking at ways to generate income but at the present time we don't feel citizens should pay a tax and gain nothing in return, so if you have any ideas or anyone else then please do let us know and we can put it to the newly appointed National Council in March 2016.

Thanks
